Understanding Scoring in AppSecFlag CTFs

How Scoring Works in AppSecFlag ?

Step 1: Each challenge has a predefined point value

Step 2: Scoring Types:

  • Single Player: Points awarded only to the user who solves it.

  • Full Team: All team members get points when any member solves a challenge.

Step 3: Bonus Points can be awarded for fast submissions (if enabled).

Step 4: Hint usage will reduce total score from the challenge.
