How to Assign Challenges to Your Team
Step 1: Access the AppSecEngineer Admin Panel
- Log in to AppSecEngineer for Enterprise using your admin credentials.
- Navigate to the Admin Dashboard to manage team activities.
Note: Challenge assignments can only be managed by an enterprise admin and are not available for individual accounts.Step 2: Open the Challenges Section
- From the Admin Dashboard, click on “Challenges” in the navigation menu.
- Browse the available challenges, categorized by security topics and skill levels.
Step 3: Choose the Challenge to Assign
Use filters to find relevant challenges based on:
- Skill Level: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced
- Security Domain: Web Security, Cloud Security, API Security, etc.
- Specific Attack Vectors: SQL Injection, XSS, Broken Authentication, etc.
- Click on the challenge name to preview details, difficulty level, and objectives.

Click "Assign Challenge" and choose how to assign:
- Assign to Individual Users: Select team members from your organization.
- Assign to Teams: Choose from predefined teams within your enterprise account.

Step 5: Confirm and Assign the Challenge
- Review selections before finalizing the assignment.
- Click “Assign Challenge” to send challenge invitations to the selected users or teams.
- Team members will be notified via email and platform notifications.
- Open the Challenges Dashboard in your admin panel.
Monitor real-time progress, including:
- Challenge status: Not Started, In Progress, Completed
- Use progress reports to identify skill gaps and recommend additional training.
