How to Assign Challenges to Your Team

Step 1: Access the AppSecEngineer Admin Panel

  1. Log in to AppSecEngineer for Enterprise using your admin credentials.
  2. Navigate to the Admin Dashboard to manage team activities.

NotesNote: Challenge assignments can only be managed by an enterprise admin and are not available for individual accounts.

Step 2: Open the Challenges Section

  1. From the Admin Dashboard, click on “Challenges” in the navigation menu.
  2. Browse the available challenges, categorized by security topics and skill levels.

Step 3: Choose the Challenge to Assign

  1. Use filters to find relevant challenges based on:
    • Proficiency : Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced
    • Learning Path : Advanced Application Security, Application Security, AWS Security, Azure Security etc.,
    • Progress : New Challenges, In Progress, Not Started, Completed
    • Role :  Cloud Engineer, Developer, DevOps Engineer, Security Engineer, Security Champion, Security Architect, Pentester
  2. Click on the challenge name to preview details, difficulty level, and objectives.

Step 4: Select Assignment Type

  1. Click "Assign Challenge" and choose how to assign:
    • Assign to Individual Users: Select team members from your organization.
    • Assign to Teams: Choose from predefined teams within your enterprise account.

Step 5: Confirm and Assign the Challenge

  1. Review selections before finalizing the assignment.
  2. Click “Assign Challenge” to send challenge invitations to the selected users or teams.
  3. Team members will be notified via email and platform notifications.

Step 6: Track Progress & Review Performance

  1. Open the Challenges Dashboard in your admin panel.
  2. Monitor real-time progress, including:
    • Challenge status: Not Started, In Progress, Completed
  3. Use progress reports to identify skill gaps and recommend additional training.
