Starter Guide for Enterprise Account in AppSecEngineer Learning Platform

Setting up your Enterprise Account

1. Creating an Admin Account  

  • Once you have received an email about your enterprise account being active, visit the AppSecEngineer Learning Portal.

  • Click on Organization Login

  • Fill in your organization details and designate an account administrator.

  • Verify your email to activate the account.

2. Adding Teams and Managing Users  

  • Navigate to the Admin Dashboard.

  • Select Team Management and click on Add Team to create groups for your organization (e.g., Developers, Security Engineers).

  • Use Bulk Upload to add users via CSV or integrate with your SSO/SCIM system for automated user management.

  • Assign roles such as Developers, Security Engineers, Cloud Engineers to users.

1. Setting Up Integrations  

  • SSO Integration: Use Single Sign-On to simplify user authentication.

  • SCIM Integration: Automate user provisioning and deprovisioning.

  • LMS Integration: Connect AppSecEngineer with your existing LMS via SCORM or LTI standards

2. Custom Learning Journeys

1. Introducing the Platform to Teams  

  • Schedule a kickoff meeting to demonstrate platform features and benefits to your team.

  • Provide a brief walkthrough or share a recorded demo with team members.

  • Highlight the importance of security training in achieving organizational goals.

2. Setting Training Goals  

  • Define clear objectives, such as completing specific learning journeys or meeting compliance requirements within a set timeline.

  • Use the platform’s progress tracking tools to monitor team performance, identify outliers.

3. Encouraging Engagement  

  • Gamify learning with challenges and tournaments. You can even build your own challenge.
